13 weeks Pregnant! First Trimester screening Ultrasound

May 6Th 2011 Our First trimester Screening ultrasound.

The baby measured 7.69 cm and heart was beating 160bpm!.. Our doctor asked us if we wanted to know the babies sex... we obviously couldn't wait!.. He did say it wasn't going to be accurate until the next visit which is in 5 more weeks! but so far he thinks its a baby Girl! :) Narbeh and I are very excited!! We really didn't care as long as the baby was healthy. We were placed under 1% for down syndrome or any other chromosomal problems which was what we wanted to hear. <3 We are Truly Blessed. <3

Second Doctors Visit at 9 weeks!

The lil tadpole was not a lil tadpole anymore!.. It's starting to actually look like a human! ;)
It measured at 2.28 cm . I went by myself because Narbeh had work and couldn't take it off. I wish he was there to see .. once we saw the picture on the ultrasound the lil munchkin was moving non stop!.. It was an amazing feeling. I have my next appointment this Wed 4/6/11 and I will be going alone again. :( I am definitely going to be taking a camcorder to record every move. I cant wait! I am a nervous wreck! I count down the days to go see my doctor... I'm sure I'm not alone on this one.

Mothers day is coming up and my plan is to put a cute little picture frame together with all these ultrasound pics for the grandmas. I cant wait to see how this next one will look like.

I am in my 12Th week as I am writing this and I will be exactly 13 weeks for my next visit! I cant wait!

Our First Visit to the Doctor

Wow! what an experience.. We went in for an ultrasound and we found out I was 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant! Got to see our lil tad pole for the first time. My heart melted!.. Heart was beating faster than anything I have ever seen.. BPM was somewhere in the 170's .. which the doctor said was completely normal. It measured at .78 cm .. Tinyyyy little thing.
No nausea but my main symptom has been Fatigue.. I am alwayyys tired.. very weird feeling.. I could sleep for 7 hour and still feel like I need another 7. I guess its a lot better to feel tired than feel nausea. :/ I also was experiencing weird headaches for a little bit which I found was a bit weird because I never would get headaches before.. I guess its just the beautiful side effects of pregnancy. ;)
I have posted the sonogram picture of our lil tad pole at 6 weeks 5 days! that little tiny thing on the left in that black hole. :)

Finding out Im pregnant!

My husband Narbeh and I have been married for a year and a half. We both are Very excited and can't wait to meet our lil munchkin.. I found out I was pregnant before even missing my first period.. ahhh !! wont forget.. Narbeh's sister Narineh and I both work together so I was telling her how I feel kind of funny and different lately and she begged me to take a pregnancy test. I thought it was kind of funny knowing that I still haven't missed my period... but I still listened to her.. I came home and this is really funny.. I had a 99cent store pregnancy test that she had given me as gag gift for gift exchange on Christmas. lol and her exact words were "every time I give these tests to some one they get pregnant!" lol She wasn't kidding. hahaa!! I saw the two lines and my legs went weak... Narbeh and I drove to Target, I jumped out bought the most expensive pregnancy test they had to make sure the 99 cent store one wasn't lying to us lol and It sure wasn't.. they actually work! We were very excited and in a hugggge state of shock. Love being surprised !
